Etymology: Latin, "from Augustodunum", former name of the town of
Autun, which gave its name to the geological basin where MNHN.F.AUT 891 was
found.
Holotype: MNHN.F.AUT 891 (formerly R 142)
Locality: Exact provenance unknown, Autunois, Saone-et-Loire Deparment, France.
Horizon: Unknown. Millery Formation?
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Autunian, Early Permian.
Material: Left tooth-bearing maxilla, and an indeterminate triradiat bone, a possibly a right humerus.
